The BridgeWorlds Books are a series of fantasy adventures set on two worlds, Gra'aven and Alula, linked by an ancient struggle between good and evil. The series is complemented by the Kingdom of the Sun Stories, which relate the beginning of the struggle, thousands of years in the past. Most of the novels in both series have been fully plotted, and some are partially completed; and I hope to finish most of them within the next decade.

The Story Begins
     In The Doorway, a group of scientists, historians and engineers wrestle with poorly understood technology, ancient mysticism, political unrest and religious fervor, in an effort to escape the impending destruction of their world. This novel centers on Bryll Arellayne, and his friends and colleagues; but because of the passage of time, its sequels center on Bryll's children, Kirran, Eridayne and Ysa, and their friends.
     Once on The New World, things are not as idyllic as might have been hoped; and aside from the daily struggle to survive, the disaster which destroyed the first Doorway threatens to destroy the new world, as well. A notable character introduced in this novel is Katarina, whose mauling by an immense catlike creature inspired the Erindale Publishing "mascot", Kat's Bane.

Other Titles
     The Island of Statues details efforts to rescue a lost band of explorers. The colonists are aided in this effort by Ticorranti, one of The Dragons of Alula, and Rrooh, a wild child who may be A Princess of Alula. Finally, Beau's Girls and The Last King of Alula explore various power struggles and betrayals, and the series culminates with The End of Days.
