The Kingdom of the Sun Stories are a series of fantasy adventures set in Itualwana, one of three major civilizations of a bronze-age world teetering on the brink of destruction from forces within and without. The series is complemented by the BridgeWorlds Books, set thousands of years in the future. Most of the novels in the series have been completely plotted, and I expect to finish the series within the next decade. Which of the stories will ever be published is another matter. One of them, Ialia and the Flyer, will certainly be published, in 2010/11, as I have a contract to fulfill, and intend to honor it; but for the moment, the main purpose of this note is to forestall anyone from trying to claim credit for the work I have done on these novels. For although I enjoy writing, the work involved in publishing and marketing my books is just that -- work -- and I don't need the money I would receive from publishing them, nor do I expect to receive any great notice from doing so. So I may leave that onerous task to my heirs, and no one should hold their breath, waiting to read them.
