 IC 2722 (= PGC 3769216 + PGC 4126449)
Discovered (Mar 27, 1906) by Max Wolf (7-96)
The two brightest members of a trio of galaxies in Leo
 PGC 3769216 = A magnitude 15(?) lenticular galaxy (type E/S0?) at RA 11 19 44.0, Dec +13 57 50
 PGC 4126449 = A magnitude 16(?) lenticular galaxy (type E/S0?) at RA 11 19 44.4, Dec +13 57 46
Modern images show three galaxies, but Wolf's plate only shows the two brighter objects, so strictly speaking only they represent the IC object. The third galaxy (J1119438+135750) is a magnitude 18(?) lenticular galaxy (type E/S0?) at RA 11 19 43.8, Dec +13 57 50. The three galaxies are the best part of a billion light years away, so they would be a much more impressive grouping if they were at more "normal" distances for NGC/IC objects. The apparent size of PGC 3769216 is about 0.3 by 0.2 arcmin, of PGC 4126449 is about 0.25 by 0.15 arcmin, and of J1119438+135750 is about 0.15 by 0.15 arcmin.
