PGC 30508 (= northern part of
NGC 3232)
(= part of CGCG 154-008 = MCG +05-25-005)

A magnitude 15(?) lenticular galaxy (type SB(r)0/a? pec) in Leo Minor (RA 10 24 24.4, Dec +28 01 43)
See NGC 3232 for anything else

PGC 3080163 (= southern part of
NGC 3232)
(=part of CGCG 154-008 =MCG +05-25-004)

A magnitude 16(?) spiral galaxy (type (R')SABb? pec) in Leo Minor (RA 10 24 24.2, Dec +28 01 34)
See NGC 3232 for anything else

PGC 30509
(frequently misidentified as PGC 3080163)

A magnitude 17(?) spiral galaxy (type Sbc?) in
Leo Minor (RA 10 24 26.2, Dec +28 02 45)
Identifiction Errors: See NGC 3232 for a discussion of the multitude of errors that resulted from SIMBAD and NED misidentifying this galaxy as PGC 3080163, which is actually the southern component of NGC 3232.
Aside from the errors noted in the entry for NGC 3232, a search of NED for PGC 30509 shows NGC 3232 (which has nothing to do with that PGC designation), so the designation 2MASS10242623+2802453 has to be used to access the proper entry (not that the NED entry says anything except that it is a radio source).
Physical Information: LEDA Sbc, B 17.5, I 16.4, V 17(?); 3K Vr 23923 km/sec

PGC 1824965
(frequently misidentified as MCG +05-25-004)

Listed here as a probable physical companion of
PGC 30509
A magnitude 17.5(?) spiral galaxy (type S?) in Leo Minor (RA 10 24 23.0, Dec +28 03 06)
Physical Information: LEDA Sbc, B 17.7, I 16.59, V 17.5(?), 3K 23850 km/sec; NED .5 x .17 arcmin, 17.5g, 3K 23850 km/sec, z 0.0795576767 (1012.5 Gly, 1052 Gyr)
