PGC 60648
A magnitude 11.8 spiral galaxy (type SA(s)bc?) in Octans (RA 17 39 31.8, Dec -85 18 37)
Physical Information: Based on a recessional velocity of 2420 km/sec, PGC 60648 is about 110 to 115 million light years away, in good agreement with redshift-independent distance estimates of 90 to 125 million light years. Given that and its apparent size of 2.75 by 1.75 arcmin, it is 90 thousand light years across.
