A 16th-magnitude spiral galaxy (type Sc?) in Lynx (RA 09 16 00.7, Dec +44 21 09)
Based on a recessional velocity of 9645 km/sec, PGC 82353 is about 450 million light years away. Given that and its apparent size of 0.4 by 0.3 arcmin, it is about 50 thousand light years across. |
