On the Surface of Mars: The Spirit Rover Link for sharing this page on Facebook
This page will review significant parts of the Spirit rover mission. For now it consists of two images -- immediately below a panoramic view of its landing site (January 4, 2004) (Mars Exploration Rover Mission, JPL, NASA, apod040105) -- and below that an image taken six years later, at the rover's final resting place, where it will overwinter in mid 2010, and hopefully resume a fixed but useful post-roving mission in the Martian spring.
