     A 39 arcmin wide image of IC 4703, which see for a detailed discussion of the nebula. The nebula is lit by the star cluster (M16) northwest of the "Pillars of Creation" (near image center), and as a result both the cluster and the nebula are usually referred to by the Messier number.
